Find the manual for your actual caliber
Use the full reference and movement code before following setting or winding instructions.

A collection name can cover watches with different movements and controls. Start a small record with the full reference, caliber or module code and the language you need. Match these details to the official product page before selecting an instruction booklet. Do not assume that a guide for a similar-looking watch applies to yours.
Seiko’s SSK001 page identifies caliber 4R34 and links to its instruction lookup with that code. Hamilton’s H69439931 identifies H-50, while H70455533 identifies H-10; both product pages provide a route to watch manuals. These are useful starting points, not interchangeable operating instructions. Keep the reference beside the downloaded document so it remains clear which watch it belongs to.
Before changing the time or date, locate the sections on crown positions, setting sequence and any correction restrictions. If there is a screw-down crown, read its specific operation too. Do not apply a remembered forbidden setting interval or a winding count to every caliber. Stop if the controls or diagrams do not match, and ask brand support to identify the appropriate document.
Save an offline copy and record its revision or retrieval date. Keep regional support details with it for later questions. This simple file makes future servicing and ownership handovers easier without replacing the manufacturer’s instructions.
