Grand Seiko lists Spring Drive 9R65 for SBGA211 and the mechanical 9SA5 for SLGH005. The former uses a high-intensity titanium case; the latter uses stainless steel. Listed diameters are 41 and 40 mm, while lug-to-lug lengths are 49 and 47 mm. A smaller diameter alone cannot predict fit. Compare the whole profile and the bracelet adjustment on your wrist.

Do not reduce the decision to dial texture. The brands’ stated accuracy figures use different reporting periods and conditions; read those definitions before comparing numbers. Neither figure is a measurement of the particular watch offered by a seller. Ask for the exact reference, warranty and service arrangements, then try both for legibility and comfort. We recommend a shortlist based on your preferred movement and fit, not a claim that one texture, material or caliber is universally superior.
