Hamilton field watches: choose your winding routine
H69439931 and H70455533 share a 38 mm case diameter, but ownership differs.

Hamilton lists the H69439931 with the hand-wound H-50 and the H70455533 with the automatic H-10. Both list an 80-hour power reserve. Choose between a deliberate winding routine and automatic winding during wear; an automatic watch can still stop when left unworn. The reserve specification does not measure accuracy or tell you how much energy your own daily movement supplies.
The cases are not identical in profile: the published thicknesses are 9.5 mm and 11 mm respectively, with 47 mm lug-to-lug lengths. Compare cuff clearance and strap fit in person. The Mechanical comes on textile and the Auto on leather in these references. Listed resistance is 5 bar versus 10 bar, but that number alone is not an activity recommendation or a statement about the strap. Read each manual before water exposure. Our shortlist has no universal winner: prioritize the winding habit and fit you will actually enjoy.
